Day 1 

 

1. Reis Magos Fort

    2. Aguada Fort

Aguada Fort is located near Sinquerim Beach. It was also built by the Portuguese. Built in 1612, this fort was constructed to protect Goa from Dutch and Maratha attacks. This fort is famous for its historic lighthouse and stunning views of the Arabian Sea.

Day 2

 

1. Basilica of Bom Jesus

The second day of the tour begins with a visit to the Basilica of Bom Jesus, one of Goa's most iconic churches. This church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and houses the historical relics of St. Francis Xavier.

 

       2. Se Cathedral

The Se Cathedral is one of the largest churches in Asia. It was built by the Portuguese to commemorate their victory over the Muslim rulers. This church is dedicated to Saint Catherine and is known for its magnificent grandeur, architectural style, and the famous Golden Bell.

 

      3. Church of St. Francis of Assisi

Located next to the Basilica of Bom Jesus, this church was built in 1661. It features a blend of Manueline and Baroque architectural styles. This church can be visited on the second day of the tour.

 

       4. St. Augustine Tower / Church of St. Augustine

Built in the early 17th century, this tower symbolises the history of Goa under Portuguese rule. The image displayed in the tower reflects Goa's past as a Portuguese colony.

 

       5. Shri Mangeshi Temple

                              Shri Mangeshi Temple

The Shri Mangeshi Temple is one of the most important Hindu temples in Goa. Lord Shiva is worshipped here. Located in Ponda, this temple is famous for its beautiful white structure, the Deepastambha (lamp tower), and its serene surroundings.

 

       6. River Cruise - Mandovi River

                                 River Cruise - Mandovi River

On the evening of the third day of the tour, you can enjoy the evening views of Panaji on a cruise on the Mandovi River. This cruise offers beautiful river views, live music, Goan folk dances, and cultural performances.

At the end of the second day of the tour, you will be dropped off at the railway station or a designated drop-off point. You can then take a train or flight back to Pune.

 

Note:

1. The cab provided in the tour package will only be available for sightseeing from 9 AM to 6 PM.
2. This tour starts from Panjim bus station. Pick-up from a railway station or airport will incur an additional charge.
3. Most hotels in Goa have a 2 PM check-in time. If you arrive early and your room is not ready, you can use the common bathroom or washroom and begin your sightseeing.
4. Beach activities may be disrupted in case of rain.
